The importance of creating a Paper Prototype is to be sure you know your outline of the game. A Paper Prototype is sort of like a rouch draft that you do in English class. You are simply preparing for your final copy of the game. You go through each step and scene directly, and make sure everything seems to be in order and secure. During this time, I am putting my game together. I can't wait to finalize it, and make it pretty. (:

.
I finally finished my Mini Game Project. This Mini Game was so difficult. It took me so long to actually finish it and get the hang of it all. There are just so many steps that I had to follow in order for it to all be completed. The worst part was when I was trying to get my bunny to move up and down. That one little step took me forever, it felt like, to get it to move. I never imagined this simple little game to be so difficult to accomplish. I was pretty excited when I found out I was going to be making a Mini-Game, then once I started, I wasn't so excited. I began to get frustrated when something didn't go my way. Although it was very stressful, the outcome was all worth it. I am very pleased with my finished Mini-Game.
In my free time, I might play a couple of games, here and there. I'm not addicted to any games, right now anyway, but I'll play just about any time of game. I love any of the Guitar Hero games. Along with the Rockband games, Call of Duty games, and also the Grand Theft Auto games. I am pretty good at them all as well. Sometimes I'll go through a little spell of wanting to play some of these games all the time, but I haven't been able to lately because of work and school and such. I do enjoy playing games, when I actually have time

Today, we were assigned an assignment to do a blog review. I decided to do mine on Paul Foster. As I was reading his blog entry's from the past couple of days, they just caught my eye for some reason. It seems to me that he has blogged plenty of times in the past. His blogging is very neat, well-spoken, and adequate. Paul is very good at this whole blogging thing, and will do well with anything in the future. Great job Paul! (:

- Everyone should read and comment my blog entry's. (:

- && the picture is for doing such a great job, ahaa. 2 thumbs up!!

Today I chose a topic for my game. I was pondering of a few great topics, but the one that really sunk in was on health issues. I think you could present a very good, fun, and eye catching game on health issues. There are many different ways we could illustrate a game about health issues. We could try a multiple of other topics, no matter how difficult it may be. I always love a good challenge.

Although I played a numerous amount of games in fourth block today, only a couple really caught my attention. I think my favorite game of the many that I played would have to be "Stop Disasters." In this game, you simply choose between five different disasters. There are options of a tsunami, a wildfire, a flood, a hurricane, and an earthquake. The object of this game is to protect as many people, buildings, and livelihoods as you can from any of these horrible disasters. The objectives pop up and give you a certain amount of people to house. After that you just try your best to house and/or save as many people as you possibly can with the momeny that you have to spend. Once you have housed that listed number of people, you then get to watch the disaster happen. After the disaster is over, a newspaper article pops up and lets you know how you did, or how many people you may have saved.

A second favorite game that I played, was called "3rd World Farmer." This game asked for you to help out a family living on a low budget. You are rewarded a certain amount of money, and you have to buy, grow, and sale crops, in order for you and your family to live. You can choose from chickens, pigs, cattle, and elephants. As well as corn, wheat, cotton, and peanuts. You may also choose to buy different types of equipment to help with the harvesting of the crops. If you can afford the extras, such as clinics, schools, crop insurance, etc., those things may help as well. Me, personally, didn't last very long because I couldn't afford to go to a clinic if my family was ill, or even afford crop insurance. These two games really caught my attention during my fourth block today. I enjoyed them, and cannot wait to finally make my very own game.

Okay. Internet safety is very important. You should always keep any personal information to yourself. If you are talking or flirting with strangers online it will cause major consequences. You should always think about how different sites work before deciding to join a site. These two websites show a lot of information on how to access new websites with safety and precautions. Just remember to always visit websites with safety.
